Who We Are & What We Do

Our Mission
The Mount Vernon-Belvedere Association (MVBA) is committed to fostering growth and quality of life in Mount Vernon for residents, businesses, institutions, and visitors. We support thoughtful development and a vibrant mix of businesses, while valuing the preservation and restoration of our historic architecture. Our work is guided by a focus on long-term sustainability and a celebration of the neighborhood’s individuality and distinctive character.
We support our mission by representing and promoting Mount Vernon’s interests at the city, state, and federal level and through neighborhood communication, meetings, and events; by acting on matters of common concern; and by building relationships with our local community leaders and institutions.
